Veo collects information to provide a better experience for all our users. This includes:
- Photos: Images you take and upload through the app.
- Email Addresses: If you choose to provide your email to receive the final gallery or manage your event.
- Usage Data: Basic information about how you interact with our service to help us improve.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our services.
- Display photos within the private event gallery they were intended for.
- Send the final gallery link to participating guests if an email was provided.
- Protect Veo and our users.
3. Data Storage and Retention
Photos are stored for 30 days free of charge. After 30 days, they are automatically archived unless the event host chooses to upgrade to permanent storage. We use PocketBase to securely store your data.
4. Sharing Your Information
We do not share your personal information with companies, organizations, or individuals outside of Veo except in the following cases:
- With your consent: We will share personal information when we have your consent to do so.
- For external processing: We provide personal information to our trusted partners (like our database provider) to process it for us.
- For legal reasons: We will share personal information if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation, or disclosure is reasonably necessary to meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.
